The Safe Start Initiative with support from Ultrasound LLC is led by ICDP Ghana. This initiative is a community-based maternal and early childhood intervention designed to improve the health, wellbeing, and developmental outcomes of pregnant women, teenage mothers, and young children in rural communities particularly those in underserved areas. The concept is grounded in ICDP’s Empathy-Based Approach. This initiative integrates health access, psychosocial support, and caregiver education to ensure that every child has a safe and nurturing start to life.

Lead consultant tasked with the organization and licensing for a start-up portable ultrasound division. Assisted in the planning of business operations, selection of equipment and instituting scanning protocols.
Entrusted with recruiting and training of new sonographers and teaching best scanning techniques and tactics. Initial daily revenue from ultrasound in October of 2016 was $450 daily. Interpret and advise on medical qualifications, available medical treatments and insurance guidelines. Diagnostic vascular scanning of over 1,000 clients annually.
